Overview of Travel Routes
By air
The hotel is located approximately 30 miles from the Zurich-Kloten International Airport (ZRH). The train journey to Schaffhausen via Winterthur takes one hour. We will be pleased to organize a shuttle bus or limousine service on your arrival. The journey to Schaffhausen by car follows the A1 and the A4 via Winterthur. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes.
By public transport
The Schaffhausen main train station has regular connections to all large Swiss cities and to some international destinations just over the border. The Sorell Hotel Rüden is located only 200 yards from the station. Walk along Bahnhofstrasse and turn onto Oberstadt street shortly before the roundabout. You will soon see the hotel on the left-hand side of the street.
By car
As no parking spaces are available at the hotel, we recommend parking your vehicle in the adjacent Parkhaus Herrenacker.
